Valley Leadership Names Kenneth Schutz, Karrin Taylor Robson Man and Woman of the Year

Valley Leadership announced that Kenneth J. Schutz and Karrin Taylor Robson are the 71st Annual Man & Woman of the Year honorees.

The pair will be honored for their long-term contributions and commitment to the community at the Annual Man & Woman of the Year event on April 2, 2020.

Each year an outstanding Valley man and woman are selected based on their vision, innovation, measurable impact on the lives of others, and their extraordinary service to our community.

Taylor Robson and Schutz join a prestigious list of past Man & Woman of the Year award recipients including last year’s honorees, John Graham and Colleen Jennings-Roggensack.

The April 2, 2020 Annual Man & Woman of the Year event will also include Valley Leadership’s first-ever “Person of The Decade” award honoring the late Senator John Sidney McCain III for his impact on Arizona.

This once-in-a-decade award will go on to recognize other leaders whose grit and determination in taking on and solving Arizona’s most pressing issues mirror Valley Leadership’s five Principles of Doing and commitment to cultivating leaders who work to get things done civilly.

And, the 71st Annual Man & Woman of the Year gathering and Person of the Decade celebration will also feature Valley Leadership’s first-ever Impact Expo, highlighting the formation and progress of its first Impact Teams: Education, Health, Child Well-Being, and Jobs & the Economy. The Impact Expo will gather Arizona’s diverse leadership to highlight progress and create meaningful interactions with the Teams tackling these first four issues.
