Everyone is invited to Society of Chairs – the premier celebration of giving in our community! Join us as we recognize philanthropic leaders, those who have chaired charitable events and boards this past year, the organizations they serve and the partners that make philanthropy in the Valley possible. The evening will feature a garden reception, dinner and the awards program on Wednesday, April 27 at Creighton University’s new health sciences campus at Park Central.
Award and Community Champion nominations are available until Friday, April 15. For more information, contact Andrea Tyler Evans at 602-448-5959 or email@example.com.
We would be privileged to work with you on behalf of all the good work being done in our community. Sponsorship packages include advertising across several Frontdoors platforms.
Society of Chairs History – The Society of Chairs gala was started by Linda Herold in 2010 and then presented by National Bank of Arizona from 2014 to 2017. Since 2018, Frontdoors Magazine is honored to continue this tradition of inviting the Valley’s philanthropic community to join us for this special evening as well as the tradition of presenting awards to deserving individuals with event sponsors.
Giving Back – Event proceeds will benefit The Sauce Foundation, the official foundation of Frontdoors Media, in honor of our former editor and dear friend Mike Saucier who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2017. The Sauce Foundation supports TGen and journalism scholarships at the Cronkite School at Arizona State University. TGen continues to make great progress in both the treatment and early detection of pancreatic cancer and their work on COVID-19 — from testing to tracking to advanced genomic studies — has also made them internationally recognized pandemic experts who regularly serve and advise international, national, and local agencies. As of 2021, The Sauce Foundation has endowed two journalism scholarships at Arizona State University.
Past Honorees: Linda Herold – 2018 | Nancy Hanley Eriksson – 2019 | Billie Jo Herberger – 2020/21
