Lorry Bottrill Named New Mercy Care CEO

Mercy Care, one of the largest Medicaid health plans in Arizona, has named Lorry Bottrill its new president and CEO, replacing Mark Fisher, who will retire in January.
Bottrill has worked at Mercy Care for a decade, most recently as Chief Operating Officer and previously as Chief Financial Officer. During her career, she has acquired 25 years of experience in leadership at Arizona healthcare companies.

“It is a tremendous honor to be the new CEO of Mercy Care. Our work matters to so many people throughout Arizona as we provide access to health care for some of the most vulnerable residents in our state,” said Bottrill. “I am privileged to lead the incredible team of employees who make sure our members get the care they need every day.”
As CEO, Bottrill will be responsible for Mercy Care’s operational and financial results. The organization currently serves more than 450,000 people in Maricopa County.
Fisher is retiring following a health care administration career that has spanned more than three decades.
“We are grateful for Mark Fisher’s many contributions and look forward to continuing to further MercyCare’s mission under Lorry’s leadership,” said Linda Hunt, CEO of Dignity Health Arizona and MercyCare board chair.
