8th Annual Phoenix Festival of the Arts Celebrates Valley’s Top Talent

Performers in last year’s Phoenix Festival of the Arts

The 8th annual Phoenix Festival of the Arts is a full-weekend celebration of the Valley’s art, music and culinary scenes, and it kicks off Friday, Dec. 13 at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix.

The lively, family-friendly special event pays tribute to top artists, musicians and culinary stars from across the region, and it now features more than 170 unique vendors and exhibitors in addition to live music and entertainment, arts and crafts opportunities, and plenty of other fanfare.

Enjoy live bands performing across three stages, or stop by the entertainment pavilion to find art demonstrations, circus performances, dance ensembles, spoken-word poets and other acts from across the Valley. Younger arts enthusiasts, meanwhile, can check out a Family Zone chock-full of fun, free activities for kids, while children and adults alike can contribute to the Phoenix Mural Project, an interactive art project that combines the work of community members with that of top artists.

Food trucks, a beer and wine tent and plenty of chances to holiday shop are also part of the festivities, so come check out the work of some of the Valley’s most creative minds while enjoying the sights and sounds of the season at the same time. Admission is free at this dog-friendly special event, and hours are as follows.

Friday, December 13 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, December 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, December 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
