Car Dealership Employees Donate 600 Hours of Service on Annual Day of Service

Last month Phoenix employees of Larry H. Miller Dealerships donated 600 hours of community service in honor of their founder’s philanthropic legacy on the ninth annual Larry H. Miller Day of Service.
Each year, employees participate in community service projects on Miller’s birthday in all the states where Larry H. Miller Group conducts business. Since the event began in 2010, more than 9,744 employees have donated nearly 40,000 service hours across seven states.
“Our mission and values are an integral part of business at our dealerships every day,” said Pat Kroneberger, senior vice president of operations for Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “This annual event gives our employees an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the Phoenix community and bring our values to life in a tangible way.”
This year, the 169 participating employees donated time to CASS Vista Colina Family Shelter, A New Leaf, Heart for the City Garden, West Valley Child Crisis Center, Hope’s Closet, St. Mary’s Food Bank and St. Vincent de Paul.
Arizona employees alone have now donated more than 4,000 hours since the event’s inception.
