Frontdoors Five: Cinco de Mayo Specials

While Cinco de Mayo may not have originated here in the States, we’ve certainly adopted it as our own, and who in their right mind would miss out on a holiday that includes Mexican food and lots of margaritas? Certainly not us. So, in honor of this joyous day, we’ve rounded up five top specials for the upcoming holiday.
1. CRUjiente Tacos

CRUjiente Tacos will serve their Premier Cru Margaritas for just $5 all day long and will host happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. and 9 to 11 p.m. with several items on special — including their award-winning Korean Fried Chicken Taco for just $3.50.
2. Old Town Gringos
Downtown Scottsdale
Old Town Gringos guests can look forward to a day of live music, onsite giveaways and of course, drink specials, in honor of Cinco de Mayo. House margaritas will be $6 and Pacifico and Modelo Especial drafts will be $5.
3. Elly’s Brunch + Café
Uptown Phoenix
Why not celebrate Cinco de Mayo at breakfast? At Elly’s Brunch + Café breakfast enthusiasts can enjoy buy one, get one half off Mexican-inspired dishes like the Chilaquiles Verdes, Huevos Rencheros or the Ole Omelette.
4. Macayo’s Mexican Restaurant
Various Locations
Macayo’s Mexican Restaurants across the Valley will be offering up Cindo de Mayo specials early beginning on May 1. Some of the deals will include $3 Modelo Especial cans, $5 house margaritas, $6 for a beer and shot and an $8.99 Mexican Flag Chimi.
5. Blanco Tacos + Tequila
Phoenix and Scottsdale
Blanco Tacos + Tequila will be offering specials all day at both of their Valley locations including $20 buckets of Modelo, $6 Azunia margaritas and $5 Azunia shots. The restaurant will also be offering giveaways, themed props for photos and an ice luge!
