Arizona Community Foundation Promotes Staff Members to Two Key Roles

The Arizona Community Foundation has promoted two staff members. Kyla Quintero has been promoted to senior vice president of finance and accounting and Kristen Mihaljevic will transition to the role of philanthropic advisor of development.

Quintero joined Arizona Community Foundation as controller in October 2017 and is now joining the organization’s executive team to be involved in strategic and operational decisions for the organization. In her role she will have greater responsibility directing the financial operations for the foundation.
“Kyla exemplifies the capability, commitment, and communication skills we want to define us here at ACF,” said chief financial and administrative officer Jeff Sauter.

Mihaljevic previously served as the philanthropic services coordinator. She will now serve nonprofit fundholders and expand her portfolios of donors she is serving.
“Kristen has added tremendous value to the Philanthropic Services team as well as the organization as a whole,” said chief philanthropy officer Jacky Alling. “Her promotion will help increase our staff capacity so that we can continue to serve and amaze our growing number of donors.”
The Arizona Community Foundation is a statewide family of charitable funds. Last year, the organization and its affiliates awarded more than $55 million in grants and scholarship funding to 4,500 nonprofit organizations, schools and government agencies.
