Frontdoors Five: The Best Easter Brunches in the Valley

Hearth ’61 at Mountain Shadows.

Cooking for the holidays is hard — so why put yourself through stress? Especially when you’ve probably already been up since the crack of dawn trying to hide eggs all over your backyard and crafting the perfect Easter basket. After all the egg dyeing and chocolate bunny acquiring, you definitely deserve a mimosa, so here are our top spots for Easter brunch.

1. The Market by Jennifer’s Restaurant + Bar
Arcadia
The Market will be serving up Easter favorites like ham, eggs and lamb chops as well non-traditional dishes like a smoked salmon pizza and quiche on Easter morning. Don’t forget desert either — which is your choice of a raspberry custard tart or a coconut cream cake.

2. Ocean Prime
North Phoenix
It’s never a bad time for lobster, and Easter is no exception. At Ocean Prime, their special Easter brunch menu includes a braised short rib surf and turn with a gouda potato cake, lobster claw, poached egg and hollandaise. Other menu items include crab and eggs, French toast, smoked salmon and quiche.

3. Voila French Bistro
North Scottsdale
Easter doesn’t get much simpler (or delicious) than the three-course, prix fixe brunch at Voila French Bistro. It features your choice of French favorites such as escargots, crab salad, quiche, eggs benedict and chocolate crêpes.

4. Hearth ’61 at Mountain Shadows
Paradise Valley
This Easter you can not only skip the cooking, you can skip the elaborate egg hunt too when you head to the scenic Mountain Shadows, which is hosting an Easter egg hunt and games for the kids, mimosas and bloody Marys for the adults and a full brunch for the whole family.

5. Zuzu at Hotel Valley Ho
Old Town Scottsdale
Few things feel as festive on Easter as a beautiful morning buffet — and brunch enthusiasts can enjoy a full spread of salads, seafood, omelets, waffles and more at Zuzu. Plus, for those more interested in an evening meal, Zuzu will be offering a prix fixe dinner menu featuring Dungeness crab tian, prime flat iron au poivre and vanilla bean cheesecake brûlée.
