300 Women Gather for Annual Savor the Symphony Luncheon

By Tyler Butler
Savor the Symphony Women’s Luncheon, The Phoenix Symphony’s signature event, took place on January 19 and continues to be a highly popular event.

Over 300 women from the Valley gathered to enjoy a sneak peek performance by the Canadian trio The Tenors.

Chef Gio Osso of Virtu treated guests to lunch and the event provided a variety of mystery box, raffle and live auction options for all ladies to support the symphony in additional ways.

Sue Glawe, vice president of community relations for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, served as Honorary Chair, alongside co-chairs Deborah Bateman, vice chairman of the board of directors for National Bank of Arizona, and Molly Stockley, vice president of hospital growth for Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

The annual event supports The Phoenix Symphony’s education and wellness programs which touch the lives of 125,000 individuals each year.
