Free Arts’ 25th Anniversary Gala Raises Nearly $1.4 Million for Children’s Services

Mission: Dollars raised will support programs that use art and mentorship to transform children’s trauma into resilience.

Entertainment: The night’s festivities began with a dance lesson, let by Free Arts program alum, Katie.

Program Quote: “Children are the world’s most precious gift and deserve to be shown love, support and guidance to grow into thriving adults. Unfortunately, not every child gets to know what it’s like to be loved or cared for by a parent,” said businessman Bob Parsons. “Free Arts uses art to create moments in time that have a lasting impact, helping these children gain confidence and realize that they are valuable.”

Dollars Raised: $1,358,066

Notable Moment: Bob and Renee Parsons took the stage and surprised the crowd by making a $1 million donation (on top of the $2.5 million they previously donated) to help Free Arts realize its dream of opening up a new, expanded facility and bringing arts and culture to thousands more children.
