Cocktails & Clothes: Suit Up For Success

Woman in red suitThat snappy suit might just be the ticket to success.  AWEE Career clothing boutique and collection drive is on.  Cocktails & Clothes encourages donations of gently used or new professional clothing, briefcases and shoes to restock the free Career Clothing Boutique for women, men and young adults re-entering the workforce through Arizona Women’s Education & Employment (AWEE).

The event also is a fund-raiser for AWEE, a nonprofit organization that has helped more than 130,000 women, men and young adults create better lives through the dignity of work over the past 30 years.

Cocktails and Clothes will be held at the Adobe Restaurant at the Biltmore Golf Club, 2400 E. Missouri Ave.  The event runs from 4:30 to 7:00pm on March 5, 2013.  The event included, cocktails, appetizers, raffle featuring gift baskets valued at a minimum of $300 and live auction.  Admission is $50 per person, which includes 2 drink tickets.

For those who might not want to attend the event, but make a clothing donations, clothing can be dropped off at trucks parked at the Adobe Restaurant beginning at 4 p.m.  Tax receipts will be available.
