Neiman Marcus Brands Shops-in-Shops as Cusp
The contemporary departments within each of the 42 Neiman Marcus stores will be branded as Cusp shop-in-shops.
Neiman Marcus first launched the CUSP brand in 2006 with two freestanding stores that offered customers a contemporary assortment including apparel, shoes, handbags and accessories in a boutique environment. The brand has grown over time and now includes a total of six Cusp stores and cusp.com.
“Integrating our freestanding specialty-store concept, Cusp, into our full-line stores and e-commerce site, allows us to bring fresh energy and excitement to our contemporary business and continue the progression of our omni-channel transformation,” said Jim Gold, president, Specialty Retail.
“From the merchandise offering to the store vibe, Cusp has a distinctive look and attitude. Cusp is for fashion-savvy customers who prefer to curate an individual style by mixing and matching ready-to-wear and accessory collections and items across all price ranges. Our goal is to give our contemporary customer a fun, unique, modern and unexpected shopping experience.”
Each of the Neiman Marcus contemporary departments, as well as cusp.com, will be updated in the Cusp spirit with a boutique-like atmosphere. The Cusp shop is designed to appeal to the fashion-forward customer looking for the latest in contemporary apparel and accessories. Vendors featured include Alice + Olivia, Helmut Lang, DVF, Rag & Bone, A. L. C., Vince, Theory, Alexander Wang and Phillip Lim. Audio and visual elements will also be updated. Overall, shoppers can expect a fun, modern environment.
