Oscar Experience Phoenix
More than 350 guests attended the Feb. 24 Academy Awards viewing party at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn, enjoying the Red Carpet Reception, dinner and Rolf’s Global Experience fashion show – all while raising $240,000 to benefit the Arthritis Foundation.
The money will help serve the 1.2 million Arizonans living with arthritis, including 6,000 children. Of the money raised, $51,000 will support Camp Cruz, a camp for children ages 7 to 17 with arthritis or a related disease.
This year’s honorees were orthopedic surgeon Dr. Anthony Hedley; Krista Horn, adult honoree; and 4-year-old Rowan Balma, youth honoree. JoAnn Holland, Wells Fargo vice president of community relations, chaired the event. Wells Fargo was the premier sponsor.
