The black-tie gala to support John C. Lincoln Health Foundation drew 700 guests to the Phoenician on March 23 for an evening of live and silent auctions, dinner and dancing to the music of the band Affinity. The golden dinner tables were designed by Pacific Event Productions, guided by Cheryl Melocik, decorations chair, and Laura Williams, Night of Gold Ball chair.
This year, the fund-a-need focused on John C. Lincoln’s Breast Health and Research Center. A video told the story of a young survivor who was diagnosed with breast cancer in her mid-20s. The touching story was told from her father’s perspective. Mindy, the survivor, now works at the Breast Health and Research Center, helping others.
Hologic, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of diagnostic products, medical imaging systems and surgical products stepped up as the fund-a-need match sponsor and matched the first three $10,000 contributions, a $30,000 gift. The evening raised a record-breaking $650,000 for the Breast Health and Research Center.
