Fiesta Bowl Invitational
In a fun-filled evening of dinner, dancing and a silent auction, the Fiesta Bowl Invitational, sponsored by Ellie and Michael Ziegler, allowed guests to ring in the New Year for a good cause at The Phoenician in Scottsdale.
The night with the theme Add Some Sprakle kicked off at 7 p.m. with a silent auction. The auction included vacation getaways, sports memorabilia and fun things to do in the Valley. All of the proceeds went to Childhelp®, a national nonprofit that is dedicated to helping the victims of child abuse and neglect.
More than 500 people attended the event, including Valley leaders, Fiesta Bowl representatives and dignitaries from teams participating in the 42nd Annual Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Former Oregon and Arizona Cardinals’ player Ahmad Rashad was also in attendance.
After dinner, the guests hit the dance floor to the tunes of ETA Music, an 11-member band from New York City.
The night concluded with a champagne toast at midnight and a kickoff by Childhelp Board Chair Jinger Richardson to the organization's new campaign, Blow the Whistle on Child Abuse. Brooke Todare chaired the event.
