Billie Jo and Judd Herberger hosted a private book-signing party in honor of their friend Patsy Lowry and her recently released autobiography, “A Voice of Her Own.” The colorful book includes paintings by Lowry.
The guest list for the soiree in the Herberger’s beautiful Scottsdale Waterfront home included former Scottsdale Mayor Sam Campana and former Paradise Valley mayors Ed Lowry (Patsy’s husband) and Ed Winkler, who attended with his wife, Karen. In addition, author Edith Kunz and her husband, Donald, joined the party fun. About 70 people attended the cocktail event.
Valley entertainer Alice Tatum charmed the guests with one of Lowry’s favorite songs, “The Nearness of You.” Anna Vivetti Condren sang operatic music as well as jazz.
