Board of Visitors 96th Annual Charity Ball

Forty-three Board of Visitors Flower Girls made their debut at Camelback Inn on April 16. The event, the oldest established ball in Arizona, made its debut in 1915.

 

Many of the young women continued a family tradition of support for the organization. Those with mothers, aunts and/or grandmothers who were Flower Girls and/or members of Board of Visitors include:

Betty Hancock – mother, Wendy Marshall, Flower Girl; and grandmother, Jan Marshall, member.

Lauren Prechel – mother, Amy Butler Prechel, Flower Girl; Amy and Lauren’s grandmother, Earlene Butler, members.

Katie Appelbe  – aunts, Flower Girls.

Meryl Fox – mother, Sydney Fox, member.

Jean Gain – great aunt, Diane Goldwater, member.

Kellie Green – mother, Patti Anderson Green, Flower Girl.

Kelsy Steiner Koenig – mother, Kathy Steiner Koenig, Flower Girl; grandmother, Jacquie Steiner, member.

Ettsy Louis – grandmother, Julie Louis, member.

Laura Regester – mother, Katie Regester, member.

Liz Rodie – grandmother, Connie Rodie, member.

 

Dennis Thompson from White House Design Studio dressed the tables with teal overlays, assorted white-floral arrangements and candles.

 

Prue Brito was the event chair. The $519,000 ball proceeds will be distributed through the organization’s grants process.
