11th Annual Buckles & Bangles

On Oct. 23, UMOM held its 11th Annual Buckles & Bangles Gala and legacy celebration to honor Darlene Newsom’s 18 years of leadership. Newsom retired this year, and Jackson Fonder was selected as the new CEO. This year, the organization’s major fundraiser went virtual. The event raised more than $450,000 to advance UMOM’s mission to prevent and end homelessness for families, single women and youth.

Guests dined on a “Party- in-a Box” and enjoyed a Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktail kit. M Culinary delivered meals to event sponsors.

Andrea Claus and Libby Bissa co-chaired the fundraiser. The band Mogollon provided live music throughout the event. Mixologist Richie Moe kicked off the pre-party, Jimmy Q served as the evening’s emcee, and Letitia Frye was the event’s auctioneer.
