Pulliam Trust Donates to Lost Our Home Pet Rescue

The Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust donated $15,000 to Lost Our Home Pet Rescue to help serve more pet owners seeking respite care for their animals during the pandemic. To help their shelter from being too full during this time, Lost Our Home Pet Rescue has expanded their partnerships with boarding facilities and their foster home program so owners experiencing homelessness, hospitalizations and domestic violence have safe placers to temporarily house their displaced pets.

“Lost Our Home provides a compassionate service to our community, helping pet owners in crisis gain peace of mind knowing, in their absence, their pets are safe and being care for,” says Lisa Shover Kackley, trustee, Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust.

The no-kill shelter continues to need fosters, as well as recurring donations so they can forecast and plan how many animals they can take to each month, buy basic supplies and provide medical care to the pets they take in. In addition, they could use donations of bleach, disinfecting wipes, and dry and canned dog, puppy, kitten and cat food.
