Mayo to Build Fifth Casita

A new casita for use by out-of-town cancer patients will be built on the grounds of the Mayo Clinic Hospital in northeast Phoenix, with work beginning in the fall.

The clinic and the American Cancer Society are working together on the new casita, which will house patients who otherwise would need to travel long distances for cancer therapy.

When complete it will be the fifth casita at the Village at Mayo Clinic on the campus at 5777 E. Mayo Blvd.
