Milestones marked at annual holiday affair
The ASU President’s Club celebrated 30 years of support for the university Dec. 3, 2014, with its annual holiday dinner. President Michael Crow and former Arizona State University Foundation President Lonnie Ostrom presented awards to the organization’s founding members: Karen and Bob Hobbs, Barbara and Nap Lawrence, and Bob Bulla. Crow also recognized the 2014 Milestone Members.
This year represented a milestone for the university as well as Crow unveiled the presented members with the newly unveiled ASU Charter. Crow walked members through the charter’s tenets, which affirm the New American University vision as a reality and one that is being modeled by others around the world.
The event also served as a welcome to Steven Tepper, new dean of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, and entertainment included dance and jazz performances from Herberger Institute students.
