2013 Arizona Leadership Forum

Due to high demand, National Bank of Arizona has released additional tickets for “Great By Choice: the Power of Leadership – Leading Great Organizations and a Greater Arizona,” the 2013 Arizona Leadership forum. The event is 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix.

The event will bring together executives from Arizona’s corporate, philanthropic, nonprofit, tribal and government sectors to learn and share ideas about how to achieve greater success within their enterprises, individual communities and the state.

Jim Collins (photo above), leadership and management expert and best-selling author, will deliver the keynote speech. Having invested nearly a quarter century of research into successful companies and organizations, Collins has authored/co-authored six books that have sold in total more than 10 million copies worldwide. He has worked with The Center for the Future of Arizona and was invited to speak because of the potential power his work can bring to both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

Dr. Una O. Osili, Ph.D., director of research and professor of economics at The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, and Martin Barnes, chief economist at BCA Research, will discuss the economy’s impact on business and the social sector. Other speakers include Steve Seleznow, president and CEO of the Arizona Community Foundation, and Lattie Coor, Ph.D., chairman and CEO of the Center for the Future of Arizona, who will lead a panel discussion among Arizona business and nonprofit leaders.
