Standing out from the crowd
Earlier this year, I attended Take the Lead Challenge at ASU Auditorium where Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and No Excuses author Gloria Feldt spoke to women about finding their seat at the leadership table.
The moment Gloria spoke, we needed to know how that little girl from Texas who went on to become a public speaker, educator and national leader on stage.  How did she find her way and her voice all while being a mom of three?
You don’t have to lead a group to make a difference. It could be how you live your own personal life. What you buy; how you spend time and resources. It could be as small as ordering a cup of coffee from Helpings Café to end homelessness or ordering Biscotti from Matt at SMILE Biscotti to help him live with autism.
You have the power to affect change.
Make it a good one.
