38th Annual Friends of Child Crisis Gala

The 38th annual Friends of Child Crisis Arizona Gala on Feb. 3 at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix raised more than $500,000 for Child Crisis Arizona. The 450 guests at the Masquerade Ball donned a variety of unique masks to help the organization “unmask” the cycle of child abuse and neglect.
Nicole Garcia and Sandi Sielaff co-chaired the gala. Arrowhead Cadillac and Isaac Jewelers served as presenting sponsors, donating a 2017 Cadillac XT5 Crossover and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces for the evening’s live auction. Other items included trips to the Kentucky Derby, Scotland and Fiji.
Child Crisis Arizona operates a licensed emergency shelter program for children from birth to age 10. It also licenses foster families and certifies adoptive families, operates Early Head Start and preschool programs, coordinates home visitation services and runs parent education and prevention classes and workshops.
