New Programs at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West

In addition to daily tours, Taliesin West is now offering a variety of cultural programs, providing new ways to engage with the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed World Heritage Site.

The Taliesin West Book Club explores a range of texts and topics. Participants will discuss each book with fellow readers as they engage in conversations about architecture, design, the history of Arizona, and its unique landscapes. Each month the book will be paired with a different special location found on Taliesin West’s expansive grounds, many not included on tours, where the conversation will be held.

Twice each month, the new Wellness @ Taliesin West program invites guests to let the beautiful gardens and serene pathways of Taliesin West inspire awe and appreciation for the world around them. Experience the impact of Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic architecture and design through guided activities such as Yoga, Tai Chi, meditation and hiking.

Taliesin West’s popular happy hour, Sunsets and Sips, kicks off again in October. Twice each month, guests can linger and mingle in Taliesin West’s outdoor spaces — with views of the city below — and the Arizona sunset as the perfect light display. One complimentary beverage is included with each ticket purchase.

The Friday Night Film series kicks off in December with a holiday favorite: “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Many other films that were screened by Wright and the Fellowship at Taliesin West will also be shown, including “Roman Holiday,” “Casablanca,” “Citizen Kane” and “Rebel Without a Cause.”

Tours and Programs for the Whole Family

Taliesin West also offers fun for the whole family! Hands-on activities encourage people of all ages to explore and discover science, technology, engineering, art and math concepts through fun, interactive activities inspired by Wright. Share ideas and personal opinions, surprise each other and discover the world through a new lens.

Join a one-hour Family Tour of Taliesin West, created specifically for little visitors and their families. Together with a Museum Educator, families will learn about architecture, the wonders of the Sonoran Desert and more. Taliesin West also offers Family Workshops filled with hands-on activities. Groups are kept small — so educators lead an engineering adventure for the whole family. Questions are encouraged in this active-learning environment — making it an excellent way for children to explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities.

Experience all Taliesin West has to offer — programs created with something in mind for everyone.
