Zoo Celebrates Winter in July

There are few things more refreshing than an icy treat on a hot day. Make that several dozen tons of icy treat – as in man-made snow – and you can almost ignore the calendar.

During Winter in July at the Phoenix Zoo this weekend, both visitors and animals will have a chance to enjoy flavorful treats, play in the snow and cool down.
