Snow Much Fun!

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix will be transformed into a wonderland of winter activities Dec. 14, courtesy of the Phoenix Coyotes. Visitors to the Museum will be able to frolic and play in 20 tons of snow and skate on a special ice rink in celebration of the holiday season and complementary to the Winterfest theme for the month.

Make Meaning, the one-stop place for creativity and fun for adults and kids alike, joins the Museum for the festivities, offering their sensational glitter tattoos.

Adding to the excitement will be Santa himself who will be visiting with the children for wish-telling and photo opps.

ACTIVITIES & TIMES

Snow Fun 

9 a.m. until the snow melts

20 tons of snow will land in the Museum’s north parking lot, creating a winter wonderland for kids to play in. A bunny slope will be available for the youngest visitors.

Coyotes Holiday Fun

10 a.m. to noon

The Phoenix Coyotes bring their special holiday fun to the Museum with an ice rink, hockey activities and special guests.

Meet & Greet with Santa

10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Get your cameras ready as Santa comes to the Museum. Children will be able to visit with Santa in the Museum’s atrium for a perfect photo opp!

Glitter It Up

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Make Meaning will be on the second floor glittering visitors up with some very special holiday tattoos.

Meet & Greet with Santa

1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

More wish-telling and photo-taking time with Santa.

Snowflakes, Holiday Ornaments & Paper Chains                                                                           

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.                                                                                                                                        

Make snowflakes for the windows, ornaments and paper chains for the tree in the Art Studio.
