No rimshot intended. It’s not that Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong is the worst mumbler in the rock pantheon. But when he joined the cast of the musical he co-created near the end of its yearlong Broadway run, it wasn’t his acting that suffered in comparison with New York’s tripe threats.
