Imagine sketching a live model, fashionably dressed from head to toe. Scottsdale Artists’ School offers a monthly model-drawing open studio for fashion artists and those with an interest in trying their hand at fashion sketching. The event is held the first Saturday of every month.

An elegantly dressed fashion model poses, accompanied by a soundtrack to complement her outfits. Throughout the session she will strike timed poses along with a number of costume changes.

Artists are invited to sketch, complete color studies and take photos for working off of later.

Fashion By Robert Black and Angela Johnson Designs provide the elegant attire for “Fashion Gestures.”
