Children’s Museum Seeks Nursing-Room Funds
The Children’s Museum of Phoenix hopes to respond to the cries of nursing mothers looking for some privacy. The downtown Phoenix museum, 215 N. Seventh St., launched a fundraiser last week to build a room where nursing mothers can breastfeed privately.
Marion Wiener, the museum’s director of marketing and communications, is spearheading the effort and hopes to have the $3,500 raised within a month and a half.
