Arizona Flower Market gives free flowers for St. Vincent de Paul donations

Arizona Flower Market is holding their 4th Annual Christmas Toy and Food Drive to support The Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

This year Arizona Flower Market has a goal of giving away more than 12,000 roses with the hope of procuring 1,000 toy or food donations for Phoenix area families in need.

Customers can donate a new, unwrapped toy with a retail value of $10 or more, or 10 non-perishable food items, and receive one free dozen assorted-color roses.

“This Christmas we want to bless the lives of others and give back to those in need in our own community,” said Arizona Flower Market owner Cheryl Denham. “We can’t think of a more deserving organization than St. Vincent de Paul. Their five valley dining rooms serve 3,500 nourishing, hot meals every day, including Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. With the help of our amazing customers, we can multiply the blessings.”

Danielle McMahon, Director of Dining Rooms at The Society of St. Vincent de Paul said, “Arizona Flower Market is always finding creative and generous ways to involve the community in their support of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Their annual food and toy drives have become an important source of donations for the community. Their generosity is much appreciated and we value our relationship with them.”

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and healing individuals and families in our community who have nowhere else to turn for help.

The free flowers for toys and food are available during the Flower Market’s regular business hours starting Thursday, Dec. 14 through 2:00 p.m. Monday, Dec.24. Customers must come to the market with their donation to claim their free flowers. Limit one bunch per customer.
