Mission: The Phoenix Police Foundation addresses unmet capital needs of the City of Phoenix Police Department, providing financial assistance in crisis situations and recognizing those who protect our communities.

About Women in Blue: The Phoenix Police Foundation hosts the Women in Blue event to recognize and honor outstanding females in law enforcement. This year’s event had three award categories; Community Advocate Award, Elevating Women in Law Enforcement, and Lifetime Achievement Award.

About the Awardees:

  • Phoenix Police Officer Mary Roestenberg was awarded the Community Advocate Award for her work in the community. Officer Roestenberg has been with the Phoenix Police Department for 21 years.
  • Phoenix Police Officer Corynn Haggerty was awarded the Elevating Women in Law Enforcement Award. Officer Haggerty has been with the Phoenix Police Department 15 years.
  • Phoenix Assistance Chief Mary Roberts was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Chief Roberts has been with the Phoenix Police Department for 34 years.
