Women’s Group Surprises Moms in Need with Pop-Up Boutique
Members of the WISH (Women in Service and Hope) support group for St. Vincent de Paul hosted their 2nd annual Celebrate Women event in the Family Dining Room on the SVdP campus on April 10, 2019. Each woman who arrived for the family evening meal was surprised with an invitation to “shop” in the WISH boutique where purses, wallets, costume jewelry and beauty products that had been collected for months by WISH members.
The pop-up experience included a personal shopper to take them through the boutique to pick out items for themselves. The experience was filled with lots of smiles and even some tears of joy for everyone involved.
