Program highlight: An elegant crowd of 350 guests enjoyed a seated dinner as well as silent and live auctions of fine art, collectibles, beautiful jewelry, exquisite dining, rare wines, exclusive trips and a precious Goldendoodle puppy.

Dollars raised: A record-breaking $358,000 to support Hospice of the Valley charity care and dementia care programs.

Notable moment: Legendary newsman and longtime Hospice of the Valley supporter and spokesman Hugh Downs attended the event, where the attendees serenaded him with a round of “Happy Birthday” in honor of his recent 98th birthday.
