Desert Botanical Garden Offers Full Lineup of Events, Exhibits for Fall


The Desert Botanical Garden is gearing up for the end of the year with an engaging list of events, exhibitions and activities for the fall season. With cooler temperatures comes some of the garden’s most anticipated programs, including the fall plant sale and Las Noches de las Luminarias.
One of the garden’s most anticipated exhibits is “ELECTRIC DESERT.” This will be the second exhibit by Klip Collection,an experiential video shop, at the garden and will feature light and original music.
Another exhibit, “Untamed: Wild Compositions,” will feature the work of Arizona-based painter Frank Gonzales.
Events will include Mighty Monarchs and the Plant Protectors, a butterfly exhibit, the Dogs’ Day in the Garden and the Chiles and Chocolate Festival.
The garden will celebrate its 15th Annual Dia de los Muertos celebration as well as the 15th annual Ofrenda exhibit.
Lastly, kids and adults alike can celebrate Halloween at the Strange Garden event.
The Desert Botanical Garden has a nearly 80-year history in the Valley and boasts 50,000 plants from all over the world. In addition to its robust list of activities, it also participates in research and conservation efforts.
