Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation Donates $400K to Physician Projects

The Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation hosted its annual Grants Finalist Proposal Luncheon last month at Paradise Valley Country Club, hosting 165 Leadership Circle members and providing $400,000 to fund physician’s grants.
Attendees had the opportunity to hear presentations by renowned doctors seeking grant funding for their research and programs.
Emmy Award-winning television personality and CEO and Founder of Inspired Media 360 Carey Pena moderated the event which included a question and answer period for Leadership Circle members to learn more about each physician’s projects.
Following the presentations and discussion, members voted who would receive the organization’s pooled donations.
Leadership Circle members make a minimum $1,000 donation to join and attends events throughout the year where they are able to hear personally from the physicians.
