The North Valley Arts Academies, which includes Desert Cove Elementary School, Shea Middle School and Shadow Mountain High School, will host Phx Fine Arts Fest on Friday, May 18 at Shadow Mountain High School.

The student-led, free public event will feature art, performances and a variety of family-friendly activities such as student-run workshops, food trucks and more.

Attendees can look forward to three art galleries which feature 100 pieces of art including photography as well as student performances. There will be vocal, instrumental, dance, theater, film performances and more.

Food Trucks will include Aioli Food Truck, Modern Tortilla, Frosted Frenzy Cupcakes and Kona Ice.

The festival is partially funded by the Youth Engagement Project Grant, which was awarded by the City of Phoenix’s Office of Arts and Culture.
