Texas Teen with Autism Dubbed ‘Danielsauraus’ Helps Unveil New Dinosaur Exhibit

A new attraction at OdySea in the Desert was unveiled recently with the help of a teen with a love of dinosaurs.
The ribbon cutting of “Pangea Land of the Dinosaurs” featured Daniel, a Texas teen with autism and self-proclaimed dinosaur expert.
Daniel, who goes by the nickname “Danielsaurus,” has been a dinosaur enthusiast for his whole life. During his trip, he was able to assist in the ribbon cutting, be one of the first to experience the exhibit and even answered questions about dinosaurs.
“[Visiting Pangaea] was the greatest experience I ever had in my junior paleontologist career,” said Danielsaurus. “Ever since I heard the news I was so happy my smile was up to my eyes. This is the beginning of my paleontologist adventure.”
“Danielsaurus is what this exhibit is all about,” said Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs founder Adam Kariotoglou. “We wanted to create a place where people can experience what it might have been like to walk among the dinosaurs. We are excited to have Daniel be a part of our ribbon cutting and make memories that will last a lifetime.”
The exhibit features more than 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs and recreations of prehistoric habitats. Guests will enjoy dinosaur rides, family-friendly activities and more.
