Suns Players Bring Holiday Cheer to Phoenix’s Children’s Hospital
Phoenix Suns players Josh Jackson, Alan Williams, Dragan Bender, Tyler Ulisand and Davon Reed visited Phoenix Children’s Hospital on December 8 to spread holiday cheer to patients.
“Coming here kind of revitalizes you, rejuvenates you (and) recharges the batteries, even better than a nap,” said Williams. “You get to be around kids who love to see you, who are super thankful of the time that they have here with us, so it’s just awesome to be here.”
The players signed autographs, took photos and played games with those being treated at the hospital and interacted with families and staff in attendance.
The visit was part of the NBA Cares Season of Giving and in celebration of the Suns’ 50 years as Arizona’s original professional sports franchise.
The team plans to continue its legacy by giving back to those in need over the holidays.
