Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Seeks Nominations for IMPACT Awards

2017 IMPACT Awards Luncheon

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its 2018 IMPACT Awards, which honor the accomplishments of Valley organizations who have made a positive impact on the business community.

“For 31 years, the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce has honored industrious businesses and their positive impact on the Greater Phoenix community,” said president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Todd Sanders. “The IMPACT Awards recognize every type of business from small, locally-owned shops to large corporations that deeply and meaningfully integrate themselves into our community. Throughout the decades, these awards have honored businesses that started with a spark of genius and have grown into economic drivers that move Phoenix forward.”
Nominations can be submitted by anyone in the community and are open until Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

The categories of awards include: Arizona Advocate, Community Champion, Economic Driver and Exceptional Innovator. Two companies will be honored in each category — one with 250 employees or fewer and one with more than 250 employees.

An IMPACT Business of the Year will also be selected from among the four category recipients in each business sector. Recipients will be announced at the Annual IMPACT Awards Luncheon on May 24, 2018.

The chamber also awards a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the IMPACTful Nonprofit Award.

“Help us continue the tradition of honoring outstanding companies and nonprofits in the Valley by nominating a business or a nonprofit organization for the IMPACT Awards today,” said Sanders.
