Get into the holiday spirit with arts performances by some of the Valley’s most celebrated organizations — from Center Dance Ensemble to the Great Arizona Puppet Theater.
 
1. Snow Queen by Center Dance Ensemble

Center Dance Ensemble’s performance of Frances Smith Cohen’s Snow Queen has become a beloved holiday tradition now heading into its 27th year. It presents the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen set to music by Sergei Prokofiev.
 
2. Christmas Carol by Arizona Broadway Theater

One of the holiday’s best loved stories of redemption will be brought to the stage by Arizona Broadway Theater with musical numbers, unforgettable acting and incredible costumes.
 
3. Annual Holiday Concert by the Scottsdale Philharmonic
Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts
December 10
The Scottsdale Philharmonic will present its annual holiday program conducted by Robert R. Nichols. The performance will feature a medley of the season’s most popular holiday classics.
 
4. A Chorale Christmas by the Phoenix Chorale

December 15 – 19
The Grammy Award-winning chorale will be spreading holiday cheer cross the Valley —from Sun City to Paradise Valley — with its Concert II: A Chorale Christmas. Attendees can look forward to an evening of popular holiday tunes and traditional favorites.
 
5. Jingle’s Holly Jolly Puppet Slam by the Great Arizona Puppet Theater
Great American Puppet Theater
December 1 – 8
This festive, adults-only puppet show pushes the envelope with foul-mouthed adult monologues, burlesque and shocking holiday characters. For the kids, the award-winning theater will also be putting on a performance of “The Night Before Christmas.”
