Live From Scottsdale… it’s Friday Nights!

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts is bringing back its Live & Local Fridays summer concert series beginning on July 28 with a performance by Latin blues band, Los Morenos, in the Virginia G. Piper Theater, and with experimental jazz quartet, Hose of Stairs, in Stage 2.
The series will feature 10 Arizona groups spanning a variety of genres such as Americana, blues, flamenco, jazz, Latin and pop.
For the first time, each of the center’s indoor venues will feature performances, with larger acts in the Virginia G. Piper Theater at 8 p.m. and smaller groups on Stage 2 at 8:30 p.m.
Virginia G. Piper Theater acts include Whiskey Kiss, Kabarett, Inspiracion Flamenca and Marmalade Skies.
Stage 2 acts include Chuck Hall “Rewired!,” Odd Man Out, Jan Sandwich Presents: Remembering Debbie Reynolds and 76th Street.
Both the Encore Bar and Shop@SMoCA will be open during the events.
