‘Dinner for Dignity’ Raises $155K for CASS

The first-ever “Dinner for Dignity” took place on April 29 at Dominick’s Steakhouse in Scottsdale, and the evening of exceptional food and fundraising generated more than $155,000 for Central Arizona Shelter Services. According to Mark Holleran, CEO, it’s the most financially successful event in his 20+ year tenure.
CASS is Arizona’s largest emergency homeless shelter, and its mission is to help homeless singles, veterans, elderly, children and families get back on their feet and overcome homelessness to build fulfilling lives. The event featured some of the best cuisine Dominick’s had to offer, as well as raffle and live auction prizes that generated funds to help the organization meet its mission.
Event hosts Lisa and Jeff Geyser were joined by their sons Jackson and Alex and cousin Patrick, who worked the room to sell raffle tickets to support the cause. The evening was emceed by Carey Pena, and more than 160 people attended the sold-out event.
