Wine and Stogies Help Raise Money for Kids in Crisis

Nearly 400 women participated in the 7th Annual Wine, Women & Horses event on April 8 – which included a lunch, hat contest and the opportunity to see live horse racing. Men meanwhile, enjoyed a barbecue meal, cigar smoking, sports playing and watched the live horse racing as well.
The event featured silent auctions and raffles to raise money for Child Crisis Arizona’s mission to keep children safe and build strong families. Wine, Women & Horses event partnered with a brand new event, Suds, Studs & Stogies to make an even greater impact
“Everyone that attends Wine, Women & Horses belongs in the Winner’s Circle,” says Torrie Taj, CEO of Child Crisis Arizona. “Their heart for children is evidenced by their sponsorship, attendance and participation in the festivities and allows us to deliver hope to the children and families in our programs. We are deeply grateful to Turf Paradise and Serena Simms for hosting this event year after year.”
