Frontdoors Five: Best Cinco de Mayo Deals in Phoenix

We take our Mexican food pretty seriously here in Arizona, so Cinco de Mayo is more of a margarita-drinking and taco-eating game day than it is a regular holiday — especially this year, seeing as this celebrated day falls on a Friday (meaning more margaritas). To help you make the most of it, we put together a list of the best deals around town to enjoy.
Joyride Taco House: For early celebrators, Joyride Taco House is serving up glasses of wine and pitchers of beer for just $5 (!!) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Don’t worry happy hour crowd – from 2 to 6 p.m. they’ll be offering up $5 margaritas and $2 tacos.
Macayo’s Restaurants: You can celebrate all week long at Valley favorite, Macayo’s, with $4 Dos Equis drafts, a beer and shot for $6.50 or a 1800 margarita for $8.99. Their specials will run from Monday, May 1 until Sunday, May 7.
Blanco Tacos + Tequila: At the “Fiesta Like You Mean It” you can look forward to a day of $10 pineapple coconut margaritas, happy hour drinks from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and happy hour food from 3 to 6 p.m.
CRUjiente Tacos: CRU is the spot for a variety of deals – they’ll be celebrating with $5 Premier CRU Margaritas, $4 chips and salsa, $7 queso, $7 chips and guacamole and $3 pork belly and Korean fried chicken street tacos.
Someburros: Start your Cinco de Mayo festivities early with Someburros – on Friday they’ll be giving away free churros with the purchase of any combo or specialty dish, but we’re more interested in the $2 tacos on Tuesday and the $1 margaritas on Wednesday.
